Wine Tasting Experiences

 Gain knowledge of the many aspects of tasting a wine, starting with how it looks, smells, tastes and feels. This is a great starting point and an excellent way to supplement your current wine knowledge. We will taste a selection of five wines from around the world.

  Explore the different grapes that are native to old world wines. Learn how to read the label of an old world wine to understand what you are purchasing, and why it might be more expensive than other wines. Old world wines that may be tasted, will be from France, Spain, Portugal, Germany or Italy. A selection of red or white or both can be requested.

 During this tasting, you will learn about the most popular grapes in wine making, why they are grown where they are, and how they produce delicious wines that we love to savour. New world wines that may be tasted will be Australia, New Zealand, California, Canada, or Argentina. A selection of red or white or both can be requested.

  Love bubbles? You will love this tasting! During this tasting, you will understand why champagne is so unique in the world of sparkling wine. You will start to appreciate how the different sparkling wines are produced, why some are more expensive than others, and if you really need to spend a great deal to get a quality bottle.
